Rafting Classification:

Class I:  Small regular rapids and clear passages; easy float, safe for all ages.
Class II: Clear passages with regular, medium-sized waves, requires competent maneuvering.
Class III:  Numerous rapids with fairly powerful, irregular waves. Waters can become fast and turbulent. Narrow passages often require complex maneuvering.
Class IV:  Long stretches of difficult rapids; quite powerful waves in turbulent waters.
