Cheek implants

General Description
Cheek implant surgery takes anywhere from 40 minutes to an hour. It requires a single procedure; incisions are made at intra-oral level in the upper level mucous membrane, where a snug pocket is created at cheekbone level to place it. Recovery from this surgery varies depending on the procedure followed. Inflammation and discomfort are normal after surgery, though these symptoms disappear in a few days and can be treated with analgesics y anti-inflammatory. It is important that you follow the post-surgery instructions given by the physician.
Benefits
End results will be seen after a few weeks or months. People not noticing your implant will surprise you. They will just tell you look different or better.
Procedure
When this plastic surgery is performed at the same time than other facial rejuvenation surgery (ritidectomy, blepharoplasty, frontoplasty) the implant will be placed through the incisions opened for those interventions. On the contrary, if the implant is a single procedure, incisions will be at intra-oral level in the upper lip mucous membrane to create a “bag” for the implant.
Note: Total cost will vary according to individual needs.
