Carara National Park

Carara national park (about 90 minutes from Quepos) is located in a 15000 acres area; it’s a very interesting because of the unique combination: dry tropical forest and rain forest. This extraordinary area is home to many animals, so while you’re walking, there’s a big chance that you’ll see all kinds of birds, monkeys, frogs, iguanas, crocodiles and mammals such as the rare Scarlet Macaw.
