You’ll start with a horseback ride that leaves from the hacienda’s old corral, leading into 310 hectares of fields and regenerating forest, transition forest and mango plantations. During the trip you can see a huge amount of flora and fauna, and you’ll go down to the Machuca River, where you’ll get off the horse to stretch your legs and enjoy a snack of natural fruits and water.

Then you’ll head to the Guacalillo estuary on the Tarcoles River, which is situated among mangroves that house one of the world’s largest crocodile populations. This place is known for the large amount of birds that live there, including parrots, kingfishers, roseate spoonbills, and others.
