Recently established, this golf course is ideal for beach golfers.  Located near Playa Tamarindo in the North Pacific Region, it is approximately 4.5 hours drive from San Jose or one hour by airplane from San Jose and approx. 25 minutes by car from Tamarindo.  Pinilla features an 18-hole Championship course in a 7,500 yard terrain. This golf course has been specially designed to cause the least amount of environmental impact as possible meet while retaining all of the game’s requirements and conforming the contours of the landscape.  Many tournaments are held to raise funds for local development of small schools and community projects.
